FAQ's
I'm not very fit - does that matter?
That’s exactly why I’m here! Whatever your current fitness level (or lack of it!), I can personally tailor a programme to help you achieve your goals.
Do I need any special fitness equipment at home?
If you have any equipment lying around at home we may well be able to make use of it but if not I have a range of portable equipment to use. It’s amazing what you can achieve with the minimum of equipment.
I’ve never stuck to a diet before - does that matter?
Everyone’s on a diet as it’s a pattern of eating. I don’t believe a strict diet plan is necessary - the main problem being that at some point you’ll then have to come off it and go back to ‘normal’ eating which is usually when it all piles back on again! Having looked at your existing diet I’ll advise you on changes to make it healthier and enable you to achieve your goals.
Personal Training seems to focus a lot on losing weight. I’m not overweight - I just want to get fitter and healthier. Is that okay?
You can be very unfit and not an ounce overweight so yes, I can certainly help you to get fitter and healthier without losing any weight.
Is it just the Ipswich area that you cover?
I am based in the Ipswich area (mainly southern Ipswich) but I am prepared to travel. Obviously I would have to agree a mileage charge with you prior to taking you on as a client which would put up the cost of each hourly session. Just email or give me a ring to discuss your particular requirements.
I’ve started out on my mission to fitness many times before and given up in the first 4 weeks - what makes this any different?
It takes around 6 weeks to see any real difference in your body which is why many, many people give up before they even get there - they get discouraged. With my help and constant encouragement you’ll meet the 6 week barrier much more easily and once you start to see the results you’ll be inspired to carry on. If you sign up for the 3 month plan you’ll also have the added incentive of not wasting your money by giving up half way through.
